Refreshments at 296

Remembrance Sunday is always very busy at 296 Sqn.

We start the day by attending the War Memorial in Bermondsey, with local dignitaries, and observe a 2 minute silence at 11am.

We then march past the plaque that honours the 13 Cadets of 296 Sqn ATC who selflessly gave their lives during the Second World War.

Later we lay a wreath at Stoke Newington War Memorial in honour of the fallen during the First World War before carrying out a march past in front of local dignitaries.

We then open the Sqn for refreshments - a very full and busy day.
