Photo 6 shows Sgt Ron Drapper under the instruction of F/O George Summers in the link trainer which was housed
in the basement of the HQ. I emphasise that the link trainer was a fully working simulator and had a hood which enclosed the student during flight training.
Photo 3 middle shows 3 cadets under the instruction of P/O George Chapman. There was a radial aircraft engine housed in the basement.
