Hello. My name is Dave Suss & was in 296 during the 60's.

In the photo 'Summer Camp 1966 - RAF Colerne' I'm in the back row 4th from left, grimacing between a couple of heads. If I'm not mistaken, that was the camp where 296 got into the finals of all the sports competitions, although we didn't win them all. I played in the rugby.

I was also at summer camp at RAF Shawbury, forget the year, maybe 65. Took gliding course at North Weald & was staff cadet at 617 GS Hendon.

It's good to see 296 still going strong, well done on your website. It brings back happy memories & I'm proud to have been part of it. I was a very quiet chap & doubt whether anyone would remember me, but please pass my email address on to anyone who does. All those faces. I wonder how everyone turned out, & what became of C/O Murray & Jim Calvert. All the very best
