"In 1962 I was privileged to be selected to visit the USA as part of the International Air Cadet Exchange and appointed to the position of Drum Major. It was also the year that I meet a girl, who has been my wife for 40 years. We left England late 1969 to settle in Perth, Western Australia where we still live.
The only ex cadet that I have managed to keep in contact with is Phillip Chatfield. Phillip was a side drummer in the Squadron Band, you can see him in the front row to my far left in the photo of the Band marching in the City with a bus following (St Paul's Cathedral 1962).
In the same photo, front row to my far right is Ralph Barwick and although you can't see his face the base drummer is Bill Robins. This is one person that I would like to make contact with. I lost contact with Bill after he changed his address in Suffolk more than 16 years ago. I did visit his old address on one of my trips to England but had no success. Another person I would like to make contact with is Barry Bishop."
